About the Conference
The fifth National Water and Wastewater Conference will take place from November 3-6, 2019 in Banff, Alberta.
Before the inception of this Conference CWWA hosted several stand alone events focusing on various aspects of water management – including drinking water, wastewater and efficiency. By merging these events into one National Conference CWWA has created a unique event that merges all aspects of water management, providing amazing networking, opportunities for information exchange and innovation.
CWWA, a non-profit national association, was established in 1986 to represent the common interest of Canada’s public sector municipal water and wastewater systems to federal and interprovincial bodies with respect to policies, programs, national codes, standards and legislation. CWWA’s membership has expanded to include more than municipal systems, giving our members, private sector suppliers and partners an even stronger voice in Ottawa
CWWA has joined with the Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ) to develop the academic portion of this Conference. This provides a great opportunity for researchers to share their findings with industry professionals, and for utility managers to ensure that they are on the cutting edge of innovation.
The mission of the Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ) is to create and foster a nationwide network of professionals dedicated to the development and communication of knowledge to preserve and enhance the water quality environment.
